Past all the channels with news updates and bulletins looking for something interesting and much less depressing then the worlds current political situation. But there was nothing. My head hit the pillow Sunday night and I went to sleep. I went to sleep in a world that I thought was good and safe. I should have paid more attention to the news updates. The world I thought I knew was falling apart while many slept so comfortably in their beds. Today is Friday. My family is dead. My kids are dead. And I’m locked in a closet. Those things out there they are dead, or were dead. I don’t know how it works but I know it spreads like wildfire through the hospital. Patients biting nurses, nurses biting doctors. One becomes two, two become four, four becomes eight or more… They are too fast. I cant run any more. So I have to hide. Hiding from my friends and coworkers… -She wipes the tears from her eyes. Banging is heard in the distance. Taking place in the State of Maine 2008. After a rather devastating storm tat hit Maine many of its inhabitants fell very ill with an unknown virus. The illness didn’t seem to spread at first. Then the infected started dieing. Only they came back… Acting quickly the US and Canadian officials decided that the only way to contain the infection was to quarantine the State of Maine….
